Braemar - Introduction & Discussion

Braemar is an internationally recognised shipbroker and advisor, providing a wide range of specialised services across three main segments: Shipbroking, Corporate Finance, and Securities. 

The evening will include a presentation by Braemar, followed by a brief interview and an interactive Q&A session with experienced guests:  

• Jenna Broughton Lloyd (Dry FFA Broker - Braemar Securities) 

Jenna started her career at Braemar in 2021 at 18 years old, allowing her to fully immerse herself in the industry, building her skills and gaining valuable experience early on. Working as a broker on Braemar’s Dry FFA desk, she thrives in the fast-paced, dynamic environment shaped by rapid trading and market volatility. Beyond her broking role, Jenna is instrumental in educating both current and prospective clients on Braemarscreen, Braemar’s proprietary trading platform and a key differentiator in the Dry FFA market. Her efforts have enabled existing clients to maximize the platform’s features and have drawn new clients to Braemar, further strengthening the company’s reputation as a leader in the field. 

• Peyton Broer (MD - Braemar Corporate Finance) 

Peyton joined Braemar Seascope in 2008, initially as a research analyst and then as a Sale & Purchase (S&P) broker. He has over 10 years of commercial experience in S&P and long-term project charters across shipping sectors. At Braemar Corporate Finance he is responsible for origination and execution of finance mandates including debt and equity capital raising, restructuring, and strategic financial advisory. Peyton holds a MA in Economics Finance from the University of St. Andrews and an MBA from London Business School. 

• Kimon Karageorgiou (Sr. Associate - Braemar Corporate Finance) 

Kimon joined Braemar Corporate Finance in 2020. Prior to joining, Kimon had numerous experiences in leading shipping & financial companies. Kimon was a Private Wealth Management summer analyst for Morgan Stanley and was also engaged in drydocking works in Qingdao, China for Globus Maritime Ltd. (NASDAQ: GLBS). Kimon graduated magna cum laude in 2018 from Tufts University with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and was the class valedictorian at Cass Business School in 2020, where he was awarded a MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance.
