For Aspiring Entrepreneurs: Compete and Win!

Participate as a Contestant:
If you are ready to put your business idea in the spotlight, enter the competition and pitch live to a panel of experienced judges, including a Bayes professor, Bayes/City alumni and entrepreneur, and a especial guest. 

Competition Highlights:

• Open to: All current Bayes students (individuals or groups of up to 4 participants)

• Application Period:

  • Opens: 10th April 2025

  • Closes: 1st June 2025

• Selection Process:

  • Applications are reviewed between 1st and 4th June

  • Top 4 entries are selected for a live pitch on the 11th June

• Prizes:

  • Grand Prize (Winner):

    • Virgin Experience Voucher – £400 (If group entry, split among group members)

    • CityVentures Startup Support Package (includes mentorship, incubator workspace, regular networking events, exclusive workshops, and 12 months’ free access to Canopy Community)

    • Amazon Vouchers – £100 per member (up to 4 members)

  • Runners-Up (3 Finalists):

    • Virgin Experience Voucher – £100 per finalist entry (If group entry, split among group members)

    • CityVentures Startup Support Package

    • Amazon Vouchers – £50 per member (up to 4 members per group)
