Louise Portelli

Louise has over 15 years’ experience in large scale transformational change in the financial services and health sectors in the UK and Australia. At KPMG, Louise provides strategic insight to our Financial Services clients on how to best implement their business strategy through customer and operational transformation programmes. She has led some of our clients’ largest business change programmes.

Customer Transformation: Louise has designed and led some of the largest change programmes for our global Insurance clients. She has advised on the design of Acquisition/integration programmes and led market entry programmes to develop new propositions, enabling our clients to gain a larger share of their existing markets. Louise is leading the development of the customer transformation and innovation proposition for Insurance, collaborating with our clients to co-create compelling new products and growth strategies through partnerships, investments and cultural change. She is currently leading one of the largest customer transformations in the sector for a global insurer striving to significantly improve their customer experience, drive digital adoption and cost reduction through automation.

Culture Change: Louise has built and managed global operations functions requiring Business Process Management and cultural transformations, as well as the establishment of on-shore and off-shore operations. As the Business Transformation Director at Legal & General, Louise led a change portfolio and a business transformation which resulted in significant cost reductions and capacity, cultural and productivity improvements.
