Following our successful event with 100 Women in Finance, we are joined by a range of insurance professionals to gain an insight into current gender equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) issues in insurance and how we can tackle them as professionals joining the industry. We hope to gain several perspectives by hearing from successful individuals from across different insurance functions on a range of topics. Understanding such issues is invaluable for future industry leaders, this will be a unique and valuable event for all.

Hazel Beveridge – Chief Actuary at Pioneer Underwriters. She has has a wide range of actuarial, and insurance business skills having held senior positions.

Paul Jardine – Non-exec Chair Asta Managing Agency Ltd, Non-exec Chair Chaucer Syndicates Ltd, Non-exec Director AkinovA Ltd

Alexandra Schedat – Mentor Enterprise Innovation InsurTech Hub Munich, formerly CEO Office Talanx, ex-EY Senior Manager and insurance lead of EY's AI CoE.

Laura Scarpa – Partner and UK GI sub-sector lead at Deloitte. She specialises in business model and strategy reviews with a regulatory focus, commercial and insurance due diligence, internal audits of the insurance function.

Mahima Agarwal – Senior Actuarial Manager at Deloitte, WIIA Actuary of the Year 2020, Insurance Business UK Elite Woman 2021, member of IFoA Diversity Advisory Group. She specialises in underwriting and pricing transformations for general insurers across global markets.
