The Energy and Commodities Society kicks off the event series of the term 22-23.

Join us on the 7th of December as we bring together industry experts from energy, shipping, banking, and consulting for a panel discussion on ‘Energy Outlook 2023 and Investment Opportunities Post-COP27’.

The future of energy markets remains ambiguous as we get ready to welcome another year.

How will the energy prices change in 2023? What should the companies look out for when making energy investment decisions in light of recent decisions taken at COP27 and what does it mean for the shipping sector? How will progress of energy transition & renewables be affected? Is electrification at the point we want it to be? What strategies do the companies implement to keep up with the changing world? What are the recent structured energy/trade finance trends?

Our guest speakers will discuss the above from different perspectives and elaborate on how their roles contribute to the energy transition, as well as career opportunities in their sector.

There’s something in it for you, whether you’re considering an energy, shipping, finance, or consulting career, or merely curious about the future of energy.

The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A, and there will also be a network session where you can enjoy free drinks and snacks.
